Sean Boller
Sean Boller is in his fifteenth year of teaching and currently serves as Associate Professor of Vocal Music and Choir at Garden City Community College in Garden City, Kansas. At GCCC, he directs Concert Choir and College Singers, and teaches courses in aural skills, class piano, and applied voice. In his first year at the college, Sean founded the Southwest Kansas Chorale, a community choir that now performs annually with the GCCC choirs at the Christmas Vespers concert.
Before joining the college, Sean spent seven years teaching grades 6–12 choir in the Holcomb School District. He also serves as Music Director at First United Methodist Church in Garden City.
Sean holds a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance and Music Education with a minor in Sacred Music from Bethany College, as well as a Master’s degree in Music Education with an emphasis in Choral Conducting from Kansas State University. He is the Executive Director for Southwest KMEA and is also a member of the American Choral Directors Association.
In addition to his teaching and directing, Sean has produced and directed two musicals at GCCC (2021 and 2022), and is directing the pit for Garden City High Schools Musicals.
