Oct. 11 - Regular deadline, $12 per audition
Oct. 25 - Late entry deadline #1, $35 per audition
Oct. 30 - Audition Fees due (with invoice)
Nov. 4 - Alternate Auditions
Nov. 5 - Late entry deadline #2, $50 per audition
Nov. 7 - Late entry deadline #3, $100 per audition
Nov. 7 - Auditions @ Junction City HS
Nov. 27 - Participation Fees due (with invoice), $15 per selected student
Dec. 5 - Late participation fees due (with invoice), $30 per selected participant
Dec. 5 - Clinic and concert @ Manhattan HS
State Choir Opt-Out
A new process will be implemented in 2026-27 that will allow teachers to opt-out specific students from being named to the KMEA All-State high school choirs. The opt-out form will be located in the KMEA Members portal and will open Monday, Nov. 16, and close at 11:59:59 PM on Tuesday, Dec. 8. Any student not wanting to be named to KMEA All-State high school choirs must be reported by that time by their sponsoring teacher. Otherwise, any student eligible could be named and incur the Participation Fee.
